Islamic Faith
Dua is an essential part of a Muslim’s life. It is a direct means of communication between a servant and Allah. The Quran states: "Call upon Me; I will respond to you." (Surah Ghafir: 60) This verse highlights that Allah listens to every supplication, and He answers in the best way. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also said: "Dua is the essence of worship." (Tirmidhi) A believer should make dua in every situation—whether in hardship or ease. Sometimes, we may feel that our duas are not being answered, but we should have faith that Allah knows what is best for us. Dua should be made with sincerity, patience, and full belief that Allah will respond in the best possible way. It is a sign of humility and trust in Allah’s plan. What Do You Think? How often do you make dua? Have you experienced the power of supplication in your life? Share your thoughts!
