Islamic Ethics

Kindness is one of the most beautiful qualities a Muslim can have. Islam encourages us to treat others with respect, whether they are family, friends, or even strangers. The Quran says: "And speak to people kindly." (Surah Al-Baqarah: 83) The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was the best example of kindness. He treated everyone, including those who opposed him, with respect and mercy. He said: "The best among you are those who have the best manners and character." (Bukhari) Acts of kindness can be small yet significant—smiling at someone, helping the needy, or even removing something harmful from the road. Such deeds bring us closer to Allah and increase our rewards in the Hereafter. What Do You Think? How do you practice kindness in your daily life? Share your experiences and thoughts below!
